I have taken the time to set up the ACC alerts and newsfeeds in its own Chrome Gmail profile. For the next week or so it will be a combination utilizing the old Feely / pocket set up.
As I go through the current feed there is a ton of content. My challenge will be to figure out how to appropriately present. If I just forwarded on to Twitter it does not leave me much room for commenting. So do I make a new blog post? Do I just make a short intro and for the whole article?
Another issue is keeping my eye out for numbers in data that I can incorporate it into an info graphic or picture. The pics will need to link back to my blog post/article data so again I need to figure out what to do. However I do feel good that there is some really quality content showing up in my alerts and I have reached out to two people today via twitter and Gmail so we are off to a start.
Some things to remember:
– I have to update my B3 Twitter chart
– I have to create a Twitter list of quality people I am following. It is obvious that the spam followers are huge and there are so many people posting crap.
–my goal for today is got to be clear or I will get distracted and confused. I am going to find 10 pieces of information to tweet and flesh out or draft three blog posts.
Well, wading through this process figure out small intros for Twitter along with links #'s etc. Is fairly tough. 10 AM and I have to move on a brick and you work so I'll have to pick this up again in the afternoonBut again I think the good news is that I have lots of relevant interesting content as compared to the formula three tipS foUr keys 12 whatever's that everybody else is doing.
Yesterday was a bust as I tried to figure out the best way to integrate newsfeed, chosen stories ideas, blog social. I need to develop a workable efficient plan for this integration. It needs to flow like this:
1) identify stories
2)Record my thoughts on why I chose why the stories are relevant
3) pull highlights/quotes from article.
It seems that usually the headline generates the idea I need to take the article pull data/fax and then use those for the intro and four pics/infographics.
