I am going to take this Post and now promoted across all the channels that are applicable:
Darn it says it needs to optimized, let me get started with the Yoast plug in. Here is all the feed back: :( Should've started with a keyword plan... Oh well since the goal of today is to promote socially and not organically, I am not going to get side tracked.
- No meta description has been specified, search engines will display copy from the page instead.
- You're linking to another page with the focus keyword you want this page to rank for. Consider changing that if you truly want this page to rank.
- The focus keyword doesn't appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.
- The slug for this page is a bit long, consider shortening it.
- The page title is wider than the viewable limit.
- The SEO title contains the focus keyword, but it does not appear at the beginning; try and move it to the beginning.
- This page has 0 nofollowed link(s) and 4 normal outbound link(s).
- The keyword density is 0.8%, which is great; the focus keyword was found 5 times.
- The text contains 596 words. This is more than or equal to the recommended minimum of 300 words.
- The focus keyword appears in the URL for this page.
- The images on this page contain alt attributes with the focus keyword.
- You've never used this focus keyword before, very good.
Ok - well the social props were never set up in Yoast so here we go:
Let me get out my handy cheat sheet...
This could take a while ... looks like I will need some help: http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/the-beginners-guide-to-wordpress-seo-by-yoast-social-settings--wp-32840
Ok I have plugged in some social data into Yoast, but I have no idea if it is right or NOT! Let's keep going...
Well this is MUCH more involved than just promoting the posts on my social props with a link. We will have to come back to this as an advanced lesson on automating the process.
Question - Which is better: Hootsuite or Yoast? More effective? Are they duplicate processes? Who do the Pro's use?
Either way it will require me to set them up and dive into each property.

What about Linked In? I have put off setting that up. So let's bite the bullet and "Do The Work"
After researching link in groups in company pages I think I will be best served by simplyTo do this on my Facebook personal profile where at least I have audience.
Here is my pinterest upload:
So for the first time ever I promoted a blog post on Twitter Google plus Facebook LinkedIn interest and on my personal properties. Got side tracked trying to understand whether functioned like HootSuite but on reflection I don't see how it can it is just meant to optimize site andPosts for Google. We'll need to look at this further in a separate session. Now I need to determine whether HootSuite will speed up the process but first I will organize my tool bar on the ACC page for easy posting and see how this goes on the next round.
